All our Theology and our Philosophy is based on two passage of the Bible, first John1:1-5, In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. This one was at the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and apart from him, not one thing came into being that has come into being. In him was life, and life was the light of humanity. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.

And the second on Ephesian 4: 4-6 one body and one Spirit (just as also you were called with one hope of your calling), one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all. in one word CHRIST.

The Benedict Third Order of Eric Michel Ministries International is a union with the Franciscan Third Order (FAICL) to have a share in the mission of our congregations. The primary objective is to help each member seek union with God and the salvation of his soul in the Catholic way.

Third Order Benedictine Oblates of Notre Dame of Grace are Christian individuals or families who have associated themselves with the Benedictine Community to enrich their Christian way of life.  Third Order Benedictine Oblates of Notre Dame of Grace shape their lives by living the wisdom of Christ as interpreted by St. Benedict. Third Order Benedictine Oblates of Notre Dame seek God in their chosen way of life.

The Benedictines, officially the Order of Saint Benedict (Latin: Ordo Sancti Benedicti, abbreviated as OSB), are a monastic religious order of the Catholic Church following the Rule of Saint Benedict. They are also sometimes called the Black Monks, in reference to the colour of their religious habits. They were founded by Benedict of Nursia, a 6th-century monk who laid the foundations of Benedictine monasticism through the formulation of his Rule of Saint Benedict.

The Rule of Saint Benedict is also used by a number of religious orders that began as reforms of the Benedictine tradition, such as the Cistercians and Trappists. These groups are separate congregations and not members of the Benedictine Confederation.

Although Benedictines are traditionally Catholic,  some communities follow the Rule of Saint Benedict within the Anglican Communion, Eastern Orthodox Church, and Lutheran Church.

Saint-Benoît, Quebec, was a municipality in Quebec until its amalgamation with neighbouring towns in 1971 to form the town of Sainte-Scholastique, renamed Mirabel in 1973. The village was named after Saint Benedict of Nursia (in French, Benoît).
